(UroToday.com) The second Prostate Cancer session at this year’s European Association of Urology (EAU) Section of Oncological Urology (ESOU) 2021 Virtual Meeting featured two case presentations (and associated clinical discussions/debates) focused on the management of patients with localized disease. The first of these examined ways to improve risk stratification in men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer to optimize treatment. First, Dr. Isabel Heidegger provided a case presentation followed by presentations from Dr. Roderick Van Den Bergh, discussing active surveillance, and Dr. Freddie Hamdy, discussing active treatment.
