Prostatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Controlled for Cancer Grade and Tumor Volume Does Not Have an Independent Effect on Adverse Radical Prostatectomy Outcomes Compared to Usual Acinar Prostatic Adenocarcinoma.

To study if prostatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) controlled by Grade Group (GG), PSA, and tumor volume (TV) is an independent predictor of adverse radical prostatectomy (RP) outcomes. One-hundred-and-twenty-eight PDA and 1,141 acinar continuous RPs were studied.

Prostate cancer and the role of biomarkers.

To review available prostate cancer biomarkers and their performance in a clinical order, from prostate cancer detection, to treatment of localized and advanced disease. We used an electronic literature search of the PubMed database using the key words "prostate biomarkers," "genomic markers," and "prostate cancer screening," as well as specific biomarkers, until March 2019.
