To assess the outcomes and safety of conservative management of lichen sclerosus urethral stricture disease (LS-USD). This multi-institutional study included patients with LS-USD managed with endoscopic procedures or clean intermittent catheterization (CIC) regimens between 2005-2019.
To determine the long-term outcome of endoscopic urethrotomy for primary urethral strictures based on a population-based approach. Analysis of a nation-wide data base of all patients with urethral stricture disease who underwent endoscopic urethrotomy as primary intervention between January 2006 and December 2007.
Fecal incontinence (FI) undoubtedly reduces quality of life and adversely affects the social life of the affected individual. FI has a higher prevalence with age and has an equivalent prevalence to urinary incontinence in patients with genitourinary disease, but is often not confirmed in these cases.
To assess the correlation of urine loss rate after catheter removal with long-term continence after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy. We enrolled 163 patients on whom robot-assisted radical prostatectomy was carried out and whose urine loss rate we were able to evaluate after catheter removal.
