In Vitro Culture Expansion and Characterization of Buccal Mucosal Epithelial Cells for Tissue Engineering Applications in Urethral Stricture After Transportation Using a Thermoreversible Gelation Polymer.

Introduction: The transportation of tissues from hospitals to clinical laboratories for cell therapy is an essential component of regenerative medicine. Previously, we used laboratory-cultured mucosal cells from buccal epithelium expanded and encapsulated using a scaffold-hybrid approach to the urethral stricture (BEES-HAUS) procedure.

Influence of ATOMS implant on the voiding phase of patients with post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence.

To assess changes in voiding phase, especially urethral resistance after post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence (PPI) treatment with the Adjustable TransObturator Male System (ATOMS). A longitudinal prospective study was performed on 45 men treated with ATOMS for PPI, with the intention to evaluate the changes produced by the implant on the voiding phase.

Evaluation of Silodosin and Pelvic Floor Muscle Training in Men with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and Overactive Bladder (Silodosing) Study Protocol (Spirit Compliant).

The aim of our study will be to evaluate the effect of combining pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) with the urgency-suppression technique and silodosin in comparison with silodosin alone in men with Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and Overactive Bladder (OAB) after 12 weeks of treatment.
