Germ cell tumors (GCT) are the most common testicular neoplasms seen mainly in young adults. Although a range of extragonadal tissues can be involved, the most frequent site of metastasis is the retroperitoneal lymph nodes. A ‘burned-out’ testicular tumor is a well-documented phenomenon in which the primary tumor has spontaneously regressed, often with only a residual parenchymal scar.
