(UroToday.com) Radical prostatectomy (RP) is a standard treatment for patients with localized prostate cancer. A proportion of patients will experience biochemical recurrence following surgery. In these cases, salvage radiotherapy (ideally, early salvage radiotherapy) is indicated.
