Collecting duct carcinoma of the kidney is a rare and aggressive subtype of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) arising from the distal convoluted tubules. At the time of diagnosis, patients are more frequently symptomatic, with advanced locoregional stage, and have metastatic disease.
