Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is one of the most frequent neoplasms in Denmark. Treatment of high-risk NMIBC usually consists of transurethral resection of bladder (TUR-B) followed by intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) instillations.
