The European Association of Urology is currently looking for two new additions to its association for the positions of Secretary General Elect and Chair of the Young Urologists Office (YUO).
The Secretary General Elect is part of the Executive Committee, the decision-making organ of the EAU whose decisions will be carried out by the different offices. The Secretary General Elect replaces the Secretary General in his absence and performs any further duties assigned by the Secretary General. The Secretary General Elect represents the EAU in an official capacity in national, international, and intercontinental organisations. The Chair of the Young Urologists Office (YUO) is passionate about engaging with young urologists and residents. One of YUO‘s aims is to offer young urologists opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills, and the Chair fulfils a pivotal role in guiding these urologists, who represent the future of urology. The Chair identifies young and talented residents and urologists and their field of expertise and involves them individually in different activities of the EAU, its Sections, Guidelines, ESU activities, and research initiatives.
