An acute crisis requires quick action and tough decision-making. What if this crisis becomes more (semi)permanent? How will you remain a good example for your colleagues as a medical leader?
The Young Urologists Office (YUO) designed the first EAU Leadership Masterclass of 2022 to strengthen leadership during a prolonged crisis or time of hardship. This will be one of four masterclasses in the upcoming year.
Themed “Enduring COVID,” this virtual masterclass will focus on necessary skills such as endurance, resilience, and standing firm.
The masterclass will commence online on 21 January 2022 from 08:30 – 10.00 CET and is free to attend. All EAU members aged 50 or younger are encouraged to join.
Skills to build
This masterclass will help you establish and expand your network as a medical leader. You will immerse yourself in different medical leadership topics, gain vital insights concerning your work situation and the challenges you face.
During the masterclass, you will know more about:
- The relevance of stoic behavior in leadership
- How to lead while under prolonged stress
- Transactional analyses and your endurance
How to join
The virtual masterclass is free to attend. Please send an email to yuo@uroweb.org to join. We will send you a document with background information and a few questions that will help you prepare for the masterclass. You will receive a link to a Microsoft Teams meeting from FProfs shortly.
If you have any questions, please let us know via email. We will be glad to help.
