(UroToday.com) The renal cell carcinoma session at the GU ASCO 2021 annual meeting included a ‘Best of the Journals’ session with Dr. Bimal Bhindi presenting impactful papers from the surgical perspective. Dr. Bhindi’s objective was to highlight the most practice influencing papers on kidney cancer surgery in the last year, performing a systematic PubMed search from February 1, 2020, through January 23, 2021 (search terms “kidney cancer’, “renal cell carcinoma”). This initial search yielded 3,115 results, resulting in 38 papers for detailed review and a final selection of 5 papers for discussion.
