(UroToday.com) In the session of the Best Prostate Cancer Poster Presentations at this year’s Society of Urologic Oncology virtual annual meeting, Dr. Adam Weiner presented a population-based analysis examining the causes of death for men with prostate cancer. Given both the prevalence of prostate cancer and its high rates of survival, there is a large population of men who have a diagnosis of prostate cancer, with over 3.6 million men in the United States. Understanding the cause of death for these men is helpful in tailoring survivorship care.
